Unmoved
The orange sky battles with the dark grey clouds,
as if a tournament of weather is on its way.
The wind blows hard and the waves of the sea hamper the ocean rocks.
And there she is. Her eyes, heavy. Her breath, wanting.
All of a sudden, tears roll down her eyes, silent but piercing.
Her hair sways with the angry wind. Yet, she remains unmoved.
She raises her head more and looks at the vast dark sky.
Looking from afar, I can feel her pain.
Then the rain outbursts its wrath.
Loud drops of water echo as they hit the rooftop.
I gasp as I look out the window, wondering if she finds a place to shed on
But she remains still. Her tears now concealed by the rain.
I try to ignore the melancholic image of the girl
My heart beats faster as I fight for more air.
My clothes are wet and my feet are now full of sand.
That's when I realize how clear the sea water is despite the storm,
and that I am desperately looking at my reflection. :'(

30-post challenge #1: My family makes me happy
This is a collage of the random pictures I am secretly (oh, now, it's no more an arcana) keeping in my "Drive C-My Documents-Client Files-Pictures101" to keep my favorite IT people from discovering the 50% occupant of my laptop's memory.
So here it is, my first entry to the challenge. Not to put my family on top of my Anything-that-makes-me-happy 30-post challenge list will be a boo-boo.
Here's the rundown of my heart's key players:
(1) Oki- my hubby, my bestfriend, and my greatest enemy. He is my constant critic too. But all the blah blah blah are just his tough way of expressing his affection to me, yeah! :)
(2) Jezyd- my son, my ally and my playmate. Between my two kids, I am more confident of him being my ally. I know that, not too long from now, he will be a grown up already and will be my greatest defender when the world comes crushing through me. I enjoy our computer-bonding together.
(3) Charie- my precious daughter, my sort of mirror and my doll. She is undeniably a daddy's girl so I think I better protect my silly back at all times when "daddy vs mommy loyalty" is in question. She is adorable and charming when happy and an obnoxious little girl when in her bad mood. I love dressing her up!
(4) Poblete Family + Tita Susan- my shield and my shelter. They have never let me down. They are the reason why I still stand despite the baffling problems in my past. I will forever be thankful to them.
They are the primary reason of my happiness and will constantly be there to make me happy. In return, I should make them happy as well. Guys, want some picnic? :D

I am an ADDICT
My officemate, Necy, sent another inspiring yet wakening message this afternoon. That's when I realized that I am an addict- addicted to worry. I tend to worry most of the time and always think of the worst scenario first before having my decisions. I use internet and movies as escape ropes. I am always depressed when something that I have planned don't work out well. So that's it, I am indeed a self-confessed addict.

With that, I will be having this 30-post challenge as inspired by the many Tumblr goodies that I follow (like the 30-day challenge Gen made). The challenge is to make 30 posts with "Anything that makes me happy" theme and thoughts that I will share to all my friends (cyber and non-cyber).
Btw, this is my newly conceived blog site. Tumblr is now restricted in our office so the need to create a new blog roll is very timely. Hope you'll have time reading my future posts. Share the love, share happiness!♥♥♥
